The bottom of Gokokujinja-zaka Slope is lined with buildings that are a fusion of traditional Japanese and Western style. On one corner, you'll find Hishii Tea House, made from a converted warehouse built in 1921. Mr. Irimura, a descendant of the family who ran the warehouse, has been running this cafe cum antique shop since 1982.
